Giving Back - Donors Choose Project Funding Terms & Conditions

The Math Dash is committed to supporting teachers and classrooms. As part of this initiative, a portion of profits from The Math Dash may be used to help fund classroom projects through DonorsChoose. By submitting a project for consideration, you agree to the following terms.

Funding Allocation

5% of net sales (profits) from The Math Dash may be allocated toward funding DonorsChoose classroom projects. Net sales refer to revenue remaining after refunds, processing fees, advertising costs, and other applicable expenses.

Funding amounts and timing will vary based on available funds. The Math Dash does not guarantee that funding will be available during any specific time period.

Eligibility

To be eligible for consideration:

  • The project must be an active classroom project listed on DonorsChoose.org.
  • The project must be submitted by a K–12 educator.
  • The project must align with the available funding and the goals of supporting math instruction and classroom learning.

How to Enter

No purchase is necessary to participate.

Educators may submit a project for consideration in one of the following ways:

  • Submit the DonorsChoose project link through the official submission form, or
  • Email the project link directly to [email protected]

Submission of a project link constitutes a request for consideration but does not guarantee selection.

Participants do not need to opt in to marketing emails or purchase any product to be considered.

Project Selection

Projects are selected based on:

  • Best match for the available funding amount
  • Alignment with classroom learning and math instruction
  • Project eligibility and active status on DonorsChoose

Because available funds vary, partial or full funding may be provided, or projects may not be funded at all.

The Math Dash reserves the right to select projects at its sole discretion.

Funding Not Guaranteed

Submission of a project does not guarantee funding. Funding depends entirely on the amount of available funds and the suitability of the project at the time selections are made.

Ineligible Participants

The following individuals are not eligible to receive funding through this initiative:

  • Current employees of The Math Dash
  • Current contractors or affiliates of The Math Dash
  • Immediate family members of employees or contractors

The Math Dash reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue this funding initiative at any time without prior notice.
